VENUES AND TRAVEL

The Berrick Saul Building (Humanities Research Centre)

The conference will take place in the Humanities Research Centre, which is located in the Berrick Saul Building on the University of York main campus (Heslington West). It is 15 minutes by bus or a 30-minute walk from York city centre. It is easy to reach by bus from the city centre and the train station. Bus 66 leaves in front of the train station approximately every 8 minutes, arriving at the Morrell Library stop in about 15 minutes. For an interactive map of the campus, see here.

Rooms: The Bowland Auditorium (BS/005 Lecture Theatre) and the Foyer are both on the ground floor of the Berrick Saul Building; the Treehouse (BS/104) is on the first floor of the building. There will be people at the reception desk to guide you to the right rooms.
